Christmas Story for our buddies...
Hi 6th Graders!
Some of you have been asking for story ideas for your buddy story. Below are a few that I have come up with.. Hopefully they will help inspire you! Another great way to come up with a story idea is to read some children's Christmas stories. You can find some online to read or you might even have some in your house!
Good luck!
Mrs. Murphy

Biographies
Hi Everyone!
Last week we read, Matthew Henson at the Top of the World. The genre of this book was biography. A biography is a story about some one's life. Do you think that one day someone will write a biography about you? If you were a writer (and you are!) who would you write a biography about?
This week we are going to read some short biography's and take a try at writing one, too!
Happy Writing!

Types of Writing...
Hi!
This week we will continue our writing using the story Miss Nelson is Missing. I have included a reading of this story below for you to enjoy and to help refresh your memory of the story. Remember...we stopped reading the story mid-way. Be good and only listen to the point where Miss Nelson has not yet returned. We will continue our writing this week with a compare and contrast activity. I wonder who will compare and contrast! LOL
Have a great week!
