Happy New Year!!!

I am SO excited to be back with you!!  It is the greatest gift I have ever received!!  :-)

Below is your journal prompt for today!

Create a timeline of your Christmas break.  Then chose one of these
events to write a personal narrative about.  Your narrative should have
at least three paragraphs, have correct punctuation and spelling, stay on topic,
and be a fabulous recount of your vacation!

I hope you all had a GREAT weekend!  Congratulations to our amazing track team...way to go, Lions!!  You all should be so proud of yourselves!!  Thank you for doing such a great job and for representing HFCS so well!!

Below are your journal prompts for the week.  Remember to put focus on the traits of writing.  You should be able to identify your topic and supporting details.  Be sure to use a variety of words and use higher leveled vocabulary when you can...put away "tired" words and use some that might make others stop and think!!

Happy Monday!

Welcome back!  I hope you enjoyed a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday with your families!  I miss you all so much and look forward to coming back to school soon.  My mom is making steady progress, but still needs assistance.  She is working hard at getting better and appreciates all the prayers you all have been offering up for her!

How are the best students in the world doing today?  I hope you all are doing well and that you all enjoyed a nice, relaxing weekend!  I miss you all and am looking forward to returning to you soon.  My mom will have surgery this morning around 11:00.  If you could spare her a little prayer I would really appreciate it.

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing weekend!  Below are your journal prompts for this week.  To find the prompt for the day scroll down and find the date.  Under the date will be your prompt.
