Journal Prompts - Week of November 28

Happy Monday!

Welcome back!  I hope you enjoyed a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday with your families!  I miss you all so much and look forward to coming back to school soon.  My mom is making steady progress, but still needs assistance.  She is working hard at getting better and appreciates all the prayers you all have been offering up for her!

Below are your journal prompts for this week.  Remember, that you should be developing your paragraphs completely focusing on the seven traits of writing (Ideas, Organization, Voice, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency, Conventions, and Presentation).  Everything you write is a reflection of you, the writer, so be sure to show everyone how amazing you are!!

How are the best students in the world doing today?  I hope you all are doing well and that you all enjoyed a nice, relaxing weekend!  I miss you all and am looking forward to returning to you soon.  My mom will have surgery this morning around 11:00.  If you could spare her a little prayer I would really appreciate it.

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing weekend!  Below are your journal prompts for this week.  To find the prompt for the day scroll down and find the date.  Under the date will be your prompt.

You should now be writing a minimum of two paragraphs for each prompt.  Your paragraphs should be written in proper format.  Your topic sentence should be followed by supporting details.  Be mindful of punctuation.  Sentences should begin with capital letters and should contain proper punctuation.  Your spelling should be as accurate as possible.  Always use your spell check if you are unsure of how to spell a word.
