Ideas: Editorial Assessment

Happy Friday!

It's time to put those new skills of narrowing an idea into work!  For a quiz grade you will:
  • Write an editorial for the school newspaper on the topic you chose on the Day 4 page.  Keep your audience and purpose in mind as you write.
  • All capitalization and abbreviation rules should be followed.
  • You may type your editorial or write it on paper.  All papers should have a formal heading.  The title is: Ideas Editorial Quiz.
You may use your notes and papers on the Ideas trait to help you.

Good luck!

September 11, 2001 Remembrance

Dear Students,

Today our school remembers the heroes and victims of 9/11.  You were too young to remember the actual events of that tragic day in our country's history.  This morning your journal will be your thoughts of September 11.  What do you know?  What do you think about that day?  How do you feel about it?

May God bless the families of all the victims and may He continue to watch over our country!

God bless,
Mrs. Murphy
